Dr Shaileen Parikh is a distinguished Ophthalmologist and Retina Surgeon in Nairobi with extensive training and experience in diagnosing and treating eye diseases, particularly those affecting the retina and vitreous body.

He is well-versed in using cutting-edge medical technology to treat retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, high myopia, and ocular trauma for more accurate and successful results.

Dr Parikh is recognized for pioneering the Diabetic Retinopathy Project in Gujarat, a project funded by the World Diabetes Foundation (Denmark) and has benefited over 1.5 million patients screened for diabetes and diabetic retinopathy.

Along with giving his services to the Nagri Eye Research Foundation, where thousands of patients with retina disease have been treated by him, he is also a visiting retina specialist at some of the top corporate hospitals in India.
